Spreeta SPR chip

I am trying to operate your Spreeta SPR chip, but i don't have the control system, electronics or software.
I only have the SPR chips, and I need them for my research project.
I know you have discontinued manufacturing these chips, but do you know if you can help with finding the correct PCB, Interface and electronics to drive the chip?
any information will be really helpful.

Hello RI,

The SPR/Spreet is something developed over 20 years ago, and as such, probably not something you would want to use in a new design. Very little information is available, here is an App Note:

Perhaps you might want to use a newer sensor for this project? And I'm wondering where you found these?

This is correct, it is old technology, but it was proved to be something very suitable for my application. That's why I'm trying to get as many information as I can.

Do you know if you can forward me more details, or the person who was responsible for the manufacturing?

Hi RI,

Seems the Spreeta Module was produced by a company named Nomadics: www.scientificcomputing.com/search/site/spr , based on this document about Spreeta/SPR. All of the TI folks listed in the bibliography are no longer here at TI, so I could not ask for any additional information; here’s a link to this very informative document:

I think you can ascertain what you are looking for in these references. For sure the SPR device (TSPR) was developed before our current document control system, so there is no additional information in our archives.

There is not any additional information on TI.com other than the App Brief I previously sent. If you do a web search for the TSPR1A150100 part number, there are some other references, the most interesting is an on-line book describing the technology and applications:
