Ting,

Let me look into this but the datasheet mentioned a maximum length of 2 meters. TI can't guarantee performance out of datasheet specs.

Have you look into the TMP107? This part can support very long distances (300 meters or more).

The LMT01 can drive up to 100pF of capacitance. So as long as you keep the stray cap under 100pF you should be fine.
