TMP112-Q1: current cunsumption

Part Number: TMP112-Q1

Hi!

We want confirm the current consumption of TMP112-Q1 at 125℃.

<Question>
1.How much is the shutdown current at 125℃? (TEST CONDITIONS :Serial bus inactive)
2.How much is the active quiescent current during conversion at 125℃? (CONVERSION RATE :4Hz)
3.How much is the quiescent current during delay at 125℃? (CONVERSION RATE :4Hz)

We understand that the quiescent current is increased at 1.5 times at 125℃ compared with 25℃ by Figure 4. of datasheet.
Will the shutdown current be also 1.5 times at 125℃ like the quiescent current?

  • Our support team will contact you shortly.
  • 1. Shutdown current, while SD=1, is shown in Figure 5 to be between 1-2uA at 125C.
    2. Active current, while the ADC conversion is taking place, is about 60uA at 125C.
    3. Standby current, while SD=0, is about 6uA at 125C.

    Active and Standby currents are not explicitly specified in the datasheet. While SD=0, the device will idle at the standby current while waiting to make a temperature measurement (ADC conversion) at the active current level. The wait time is specified by the Conversion Rate setting. The length of the ADC conversion is specified as Conversion Time on page 4, and is about 26ms. The Average current specified in the datasheet is the average current consumption over a long sample time while the device is configured for SD=0 and 4Hz Conversion Rate. These are the default settings on power-up.
