TDC1000: On the resistance value of LNA gain adjustment

Part Number: TDC1000
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDC7200

Dear Expert.

Please tell me about TDC 1000.
What is the Minimum value of the resistor value for LNA gain adjustment?
Resistance is the resistor in series with the RX input line.
The LNA adjusts the gain according to its resistance value and it It was written.

It is currently being evaluated, it is in a hurry without time.
I am glad if you can support it.

    Is there anyone who knows?
My customers are also in trouble.

  • Hi Fukazawa-san,

If the TDC7200 is being used in capacitive feedback mode, then no resistance is necessary on the RX line. It is generally recommended that the device be used in this mode. In this case, a capacitance of 300pF is recommended on the input for use with transducers in the range of 590kHz to 5Mhz.

If the device is being used in resistive mode, I would not suggest using a resistance below 900ohm, as higher gains on the LNA will result in signal distortion that could affect threshold detection.

    Regards,
