TMP235: Please recommend a device which can output < 1000mV at 100℃

Part Number: TMP235
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM20, LMT70, LM70

Hi Team,

Please recommend a device which can output  < 1000mV at 100℃.  TMP235‘s output is a bit high at 100℃。 thanks.

  • Dear Yue Tang -
    The LM20 is one candidate:

page 9 - this device puts out 675mV at 100C

The LMT70 also looks like a choice :

Page 6, this device puts out typically 574.117mV @ 100C

  • Josh,
Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I didn't well describe my question. My customer used a ADC with a 0 to 1V narrow input range, they need this TEMP device's output be limited to 1V within the full temperature range. in this case,-45℃ to 100℃. so LM20 and LM70 can't meet this requirement.
  • Dear Yue -
I think proposing they use a voltage divider with a part like the LMT70 would be the cleanest way with our devices, given this narrow band of operation. the device swings from 1375mV @ -55C to 302mV @ 150C. if they use two equally valued resistors, for example, the range out to the ADC would swing from 0.687 to 0.15V, within the range of their requirement.
