As seen in the excellent TI Liquid Level Radar Measurements video with this board, the choice/design of antenna directly impacts the size of the beam (and results).

I have 3 antenna-related questions for this board:

1) What type of antenna is on this board? 2) Am I able to change the antenna (lens?) on this board? 3) Does TI recommend any antenna (lens) providers for this board?

Hi Jerry,

It is a patch antenna that is etched into the PCB so you won't be able to change the antenna out unfortunately.

I cannot recommend any lens providers on this forum at this time.

Hi Akash,

Thank you for checking into my questions. One follow-up question: what are the characteristics of the PCB patch antenna - like beam size? Is it 4 degrees?
