The point cloud coordinates have already been translated from linear scale, so you are trying to use the original values?
Please see the mmWave-SDK Doxygen section entitled List of Detected Objects.

In cfg file and using sdk 3.3. the board export point cloud (x,y,z,doppler) and point cloud sideinfo (SNR, noiseval).
the side info values are exported in db scales, as described in

what is the denominator used to calculate the snr

Hello,
In the doxygen you will find "In this output list, side information of noise (from the range CFAR HWA processing) and SNR is also populated for each of the generated points in this list. The SNR is calculated using the noise (from range CFAR HWA) and the detection matrix value corresponding to the detected range,doppler position."
