TS3DS10224: Alternative part numbers for CAN multiplexing

Part Number: TS3DS10224

For this part its mentioned that it could be used for USB, which would mean 5v support, but unfortunately max voltage is 4v. We were planning to use it for CAN bus lines, but actually in the spec max voltage supported should be 7v. Could you advise me an alternative part number that supports higher voltage up to 7v?

    The TI.com switch search tool is a good way to find parts that meet your requirements.  I filtered the tool for 2:1 devices that will support > 7V.  What do you think about the CD4053? 

    What is the data rate for your CAN signal and how many transmit or receive lines do you need 2:1 switching?

    Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that max Vcc I can provide is 4.5V. And in the suggested switches Vio is always tied to Vcc. Is there any switch where Vio could be higher than Vcc?

    The speed is 1Mbps and we would need 2 lines.

    We have devices that the I/O voltage can exceed the supply voltage but currently do not have any devices the can have Vcc = 4.5 V and support I/O voltage up to 7V.

    Why are you limited to a 4.5 V supply rain and have 7V signals? Do you have another supply rail like 12V where you could use a device like TS12A12511?

    thats the limitation of our current design. We can either use input voltage which is up to 28V or use voltage after converter which is 4.5V.

    I'm thinking of going with this one in the end: TS5V330.

    What do you think?

    If the TS5V330 Vcc = 4.5 V than you will only be able to pass 5.5 V through the switch. You will not be able to pass 7V.

    If you don't need to support 7V signals than there are many 2:1 switches that will support 4.5 V. SN74LVC1G3157 will be the lowest cost version.
