TS5A3166: Does it use a bi-directional Switch for communication channel like Single Wire Serial Comm?

To whom may it concern,

Can I use this product for switching communication channel (Path Connection and Disconnection) like 1-wire communication?

Meanwhile,

Is all TS5A Series bi-directional Switch?

Please reply for me.

    Hi Chanwook,

    All our passive switches are bi-directional. You can connect and disconnect switch for single wire communication.

    However please double check the tON and tOFF specs in the TS5A3166 datasheet to make sure it satisfies the edge rate of the data signal because it takes some time to turn on and turn off the switch,
