CCS: Off-line installed packages not recognized by resource explorer

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430WARE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I faced some difficulties with internet connection and I could download some MSP430Ware outside of CCS. After installing them and starting CCS it recognised some of the packages as new component, but I cannot see them in resource explorer as installed packages. Can I make them visible in RE?

  • Hello Laszlo,

What versions of CCS and MSP430Ware are you using? And where did you install MSP430Ware?

    Thanks

    ki

  • CCS  Version: 9.1.0.00010

    MSP430Ware: msp430ware_3_80_02_10

    it is installed in /home/user21/ti

After the package downloaded I have run the installer and it have been put to the directory above. Starting CCS, it recognised some libraries ... etc I am not exactly remember. If I have open resource explorer and select the board I can see in the selection only with the latest version to download, but not the already downloaded packages.

Is there a way to have older libraries to be shown in the selection, for example a sample program to import to IDE ?

  • Which Linux distro and version are you using?

  • Hello,
I haven’t heard back from you, hence this issue is being closed. If you wish to continue the discussion, please post a reply with an update below (or create a new thread).

    Thanks,

For each package, you can specify the version to use. By default, it default to the latest. Use the drop-down list to choose the version you want.

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the methode.

IT would be great to see all possibilities, i.e: I would like to use USBDEvelopersPackage 3.20.03.a which does not seems, only the latest about five. Would be graet you can you solve to see all previous version.
