CC1310: RPL Configuration for +150 node network

Sorry for the late reply, i've been out of the office for a few days. Our development is for a street lighting application, so the deployment characteristics will be as follow:

• Streets of 100 meters
• Five nodes per street, separated 20 meter one from each other
• A grid of 4x4 blocks, achieving a total number of 200 nodes
• Node's position won't change over time
• Border router position is fixed, but may be anywhere in the grid (even in a corner)

We are running a few simulations with Cooja, and modifying the RPL configuration parameters to achieve the best performance. However, we were wondering if someone can advice us with the best starting point for our application profile. Thanks in advance

For the nodes:

• CC1310F128RGZ will be running Contiki-NG configured with RPL-LITE (non-storing mode) and will interface through UART with another MCU to get readings from different sensors and operate on the actuators. RAM/FLASH on the external MCU is not an issue, so the only constraint is the one of the CC1310. Since most of the application will be running on the external MCU, we guess the application running on the CC1310 will remain pretty lightweight and simple. 

For the root:

• Intel NUC with Ubuntu Core running an instance of a Contiki-NG border router. Once again, this may not be an issue regarding the resources

Thanks four your answer. Yes, i've already checked the RPL Lite documentation from the Contiki-NG Wiki. I've also made a question on Contiki-NG Gitter without any luck. I guess i'll try what you suggest about the higher lifetime and DIO redundancy and keep you posted.
