Hi TI,

I am planing to use CC1101 RF module 433MHZ for interface i will use Micro controller.

1.Directly i can set 433MHz directly some hardware changes ,why because i dont have spectrum analyser to see the 433Mhz is generating or not

2. Texas recomended Low cost evalution boards are available 433 Mhz for testing in cc1101 module support.

3.At a time can i use both Transmission and receving data at a time any time delay is there.

4.what is the transmission and receiving distance(300meter),how can i improve the transmission distance range.

Hi,

1. Make sure the module you are using has a RF filter for 433MHz. You can use SmartRF studio with another sub-1G device to see if your frequency is at 433MHz. Use the Continuous RX tab with base frequency set to 433MHz and look at the RSSI. This will just give you an idea.

2. The dev kit is available here http://www.ti.com/tool/CC1101DK433 .

3. You cannot use RX/TX functions simultaneously.

4. You can use the range estimator tool provided here: http://www.ti.com/tool/RF-RANGE-ESTIMATOR

Thanks for replying,

I cannot use RX/TX functions simultaneously.But i can use TX and some delay i can use RX.

for example

My requirement is Remote and reciver both boards having cc1101 transreciver,From remote board i pressed one button pressed one led ON in Reciver board,and Reciver board also have 4 switches ,i pressed second switch remote board Led also ON ,this is my requirement .

Like that it will work right ,remote side cc1101 working as Transmitter and receiver.

Yes, that should work fine.

I am not sure what you mean by longevity but the part is still in production.

Although i would highly recommend that you consider our ARM based devices such as CC13xx/CC26xx for new product development. You will find all the relevant material in the links below.

There are currently no plans to end-of-life this part. IT is currently active and for sale to all customers. It is still a part that is suitable for new designs.
