Useing IAR, Reference Z-Stack Home Sample Application User’s Guide.pdf

But in progressing, error heppend

Error while running "c:/ti/xdctools_3_32_00_06_core/xs"

i just want setting Development environment, use zigbee network.

If there is no response, it means the script doesn't run correctly and you cannot move forward.

I shouldn't take a lot of time to run. You can also try to run znp-bringup.zjs under \Z-Tool\Scripts.

Is only a coordinator connected to ztool? Is the router and end device not connected?

You can also use ZTool to configure ZNP to act as Zigbee router or end device.

You can use the following code in coordinator_light.zjs to change device type.

Do you mean to use ZTool connecting to one SensorTag running ZNP to act as coordinator and another SensorTag runs as ZED to communicate with coordinator?

Yes, you can change device type to Zigbee end device in the script. However, you still need Zigbee coordinator to let this end device to join.

I connected the sensorTag with the hex file of the sensorTag end device project file to the pc and connected it to ztool, but it does not connect.

Hex file of the sensorTag end device doesn't support ZNP interface so ZTOOL cannot communicate with it.

I don't have experience using those APIs in DEBUG.c and DebugTrace.c. If you want to debug/trace the code, you can use breakpoint and debugger interface in IAR directly.

Is there any way to get 'hello' to be printed by pressing any command in ztool?

For example, when IAR is modified and the SYS_VERSION command is executed, I want 'hello' to appear in ztool.

MT command is based on hex format. I don't think it's a good idea to have hello appears in it.

I'm going to build a debugging environment and give priority to manipulation in the APL layer.

And if that works well,i will try to manipulate it in the NWK layer as well.

What I want may be too abstract.

I just started learning zigbee.

I don't think it helps much to study MT commands. I suggest you to read the book Zigbee Wireless Networking to know more about Zigbee protocol and test with TI Z-Stack.

I am asking these questions to debug with IAR and to understand the c code.

If there is some confusion and it is possible to debug with IAR, is it better to debug with IAR than to use ztool?

Since cc26xx doesn't have enough flash for ZNP to contain all ZC/ZR/ZED configuration, it's already separated into different configuration in IAR ZNP workspace.
