Hi,

Now I am developing a Bluetooth transmitter, which applies on gaming console, and required low latency audio stream, can you tell me how many ms the latency of  CC2564?

looking forward your comments, thanks!

best regards,

harry

  • Hi,

Bluetooth audio over A2DP profile uses ACL (Asynchronous Connection-less) data. Since the data is sent asynchronously, the latency depends on the overall implementation including what is the bitpool size and jitter buffer used on the host.

Moreover, the latency also depends on the environment the device is operating in and how many active connection it has.

    - Do you have a particular host platform in mind?
    - Are you planning to A2DP (unassisted) or the CC2564C's A3DP (assisted A2DP) mode?
    - Would your application be audio source or audio sink?

    Best regards,
    Vihang
