CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC2650: Problem of download 'SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK' on MacBook

Hello

I can not install 'SimpleLInk CC2640R2 SDK' in Resource Explorer of my CCS.

I use CCS (version 7.1.0) on MacBook (macOS Sierra version 10.12.3).

Whenever I try to download it, at first it seems to start downloading but finally it fails. I just displays 'Content has been successfully downloaded into undefined' dialog box.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello,

Can you tell me the exact build version of CCS v7.1.0 you are using (displayed under About/Help menu)? Also, have you applied all available updates to CCS?

My CCS version is 7.1.0.00016.

In addition, I success in 'SimpleLink CC32XX SDK' and 'SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK'.
But, I always fail to downloading only 'SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK'.

And, I really want to know the meaning "'Content has been successfully downloaded into undefined'.

This looks like a bug that only happens on MacOS. I have filed a bug for this. Tracking ID: REX-1355

Is this a CCS bug or an SDK bug? I've tried the new CCS 7.2 on macOS. The bug is still not fixed.

There are two parts to the bug. The root cause is that there actually is no mac version of the SDK available. The other related bug is the misleading error message that makes it sound like there is one available and it was downloaded. The error message needs to make it clear that there is no SDK available. But the root issue is an SDK one.
