Hi,

Do you have a product that Sync word is corresponding to the 8bit format products Sub 1GHz band?

Best Regards,

hamada

  • If you want to take advantage of the sync detect feature (Wavematch) in our CC112x/CC120x products the minimum sync word length is 11 bits. If you have an 8 bit sync word you can add the last few bits of your preamble to make up a 11 bit (or more) sync word.

  • Hi,Sverre.

    Thank you for reply.

I would like to send a packet that is attached to the document.

    4405.packet_format.xlsx

    In order to cope,

I want to convert to "Examination format" in the external MCU.

I believe that receiving a packet from the CC1120, and want to send the serial data to an external MCU.

    The above possible?

How do I use any mode, if possible? For example, Synchronous Serial Mode?

    Best Regards,

  • The preamble + sync is 32 + 8 bits. You need to use part of the preamble as a sync word. Possible configurations:

    of preamble + sync:

    29 + 11 bits

    24 + 16 bits

    22 + 18 bits

    16 + 24 bits

How is that to insert a Preamble every time you send one frame packet?

  • Please read the CC1120 User Guide.

You can configure CC1120 to automatically send 2 bytes of preamble + 3 bytes sync word (16 + 24 bits). On the RX side the CC1120 checks for a 3 byte sync word and starts to receive the payload as soon as the sync word is detected.
