Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1120

Hello,

In case of that the 32MHz oscillator is used, what frequency is worked for the whole of digital parts in CC1120?
For example, I want to know the frequency of MARC, FIFO and so on.

Best Regards,

Nomoto

  • Hi,

Please see Table-1 of CC112x user guide

    Thanks,

  • Hello,

It seems that Table-1 shows only SCLK (SPI clock).
    How about the other clocks?

    Hi Nomoto

Why do you need this info?

The only thing the user needs to know is the speed the MCU can run the SPI on to communicate with the radio and how the RF parameters are depending on the crystal frequency.

  • Hello Siri-san,

The background of my question is that I want to know the frequency which influences the RF performance.
I think internal frequency influences the RF performance; for example, it will make spurious signals.

  • Hi Yusuke-san

The following is stated in the data sheet:

"It is expected that there be will degraded sensitivity at multiples of XOSC/2 in RX, and an increase in spurious emissions when the RF channel is close to multiples of XOSC Crystal frequency 32 33.6 MHz in TX. We recommend that the RF channel is kept RX_BW/2 away from XOSC/2 in RX, and that the level of spurious emissions be evaluated if the RF channel is closer than 1 MHz to multiples of XOSC in TX."
