CC1200 - Supply voltage: +3 V or +3.3 V?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1200

Hello,

all technical data in the datasheet of the CC1200 transceiver are carried out at 3 Volt supply.

The reference design though seems powered at 3.3 Volt

In fact, the voltage regulator TPS79330DBVR is not mounted.

QUESTION 1:

What's the power supply voltage of the reference design of the CC1200 transceiver?

QUESTION 2:

What's the best power supply value between +3V and +3.3 V?

Thanks,

  • The EM can operate from 2.0 V to 3.6 V when the regulator is not mounted. Typically the chip is powered from 3.0 - 3.3 V dependent on which regulators etc you have in a system or if you power it directly from a battery
