Hello,

I was just wondering if it is possible to use the CC1125 with sniff mode but no packet handling?

I have to be able to receive transmissions from legacy products (which don't have the correct CRC) but I like the sniff mode for the reduction in current consumption it can provide.

I realise it can be woken up via the pre-amble and returned to sleep mode via the MCU. Would the baseband signal be outputted onto a port as it is in normal rx mode?

Many thanks. I can only get SWRU295E which doesn't have those sections.

I have looked at the document history and can't figure out which sections you are referring to.

It seems they added one more section in Rev E.

Please refer to CC112x user guide SWRU295E sections 8.5, 8.6 & 8.7

When I wrote no packet handling I meant can I use sniff mode with transparent mode?
My RX turns on with the correct timing but I'm never getting pqt reached. I do get pqt valid though and I can see the preamble in my outputted serial rx is correct. RX terminates after pqt valid. However on page 55 of SWRU295E it states "Preamble and sync word insertion/detection is not supported in transparent serial mode." So am I incorrect in thinking that I can use it this way?
