How to use SPI and I2C in zstack 1.2 of cc2538

Hi,

I would like to use I2C and SPI in zstack of CC2438. i checked in BSP and HAL folder of zstack1.2 but there is no file for I2C and SPI but The UART are fully supported in zstack so my problem is how can i get I2C support as well?

I am using smartrf 06 (cc2538) and IAR embedded workbench.. and zstack which i am using is zstack 1.2 home automation.

Can any ti will respond to this post. ... plz anyone help me....

For example of I2C and SPI on CC2538, please download CC2538 Foundation Firmware from http://www.ti.com/tool/cc2538-sw. In include comprehensive examples and documentation.

I already hav CC2538 Foundation Firmware and i used it but in zstck i checked there is no API for I2C or SPI but there is API for UART , LCD, LED, and Key is present and implement in HAL of zstack (for ex - HAL_KEY_SW_1, HalLcdWriteString or HalUARTOpen ) but there is no such API or File for I2C or SPI.....

so if i want to use I2C then how i can access it in zstack code and if i used foundation firmware software then what are the changes i hav to do?

Plz help me to sort-out these problems.... I am using zstack1.20 home automation and sample Light code for cc2538.

I also have the same usage of SPI in Z-stack Home 1.2.2. But as mentioned in the above posts, there is still no HAL APIs for SPI. Is there any example of using SPI (including interrupt usage) in Z-stack?

I know the foundation firmware, but it is too far away to be used in Z-stack, looks need a lot effort for an end-user to implement a SPI HAL by himself....

LCD driver uses SPI driver so you can refer to hal_lcd.c.

Thanks YK. It provides some hints, still a little disappointed that TI doesn't provide HAL for such common interface.
