Hi,
Has anyone connected from a smartphone (Android, iPhone, etc) to the CC2540DK-MINI development kit?
Thanks,

Hi Vladimir,
The target is the keyfob board included with the CC2540DK-MINI kit. It does Bluetooth Low Energy (LE).
But someone said that there's no Android Smartphone that supports Bluetooth LE.
I would also be interested in connecting to that board with a Windows Mobile smartphone or another OS smartphone.
Do you know how to do it?
Thanks,
Gil
I also would like to know how far is until we see smartphone with BLE
is there any vendor with BLE allready planed or it all theortical.
I preffer to develpoe my project that current smart phones can be used with it
is there any single chip solution for regular bluetooth (like cc2540)
so I can start right now and not need to wait (also the mark is all ready there and not need to grow)
thanks,
Natanel
Hi All,
Just wonder if there has been any progress on smartphone that can support BLE (for my test with the CC2540)? Apple released the iPhone 4S with BLE but as I understand they would not let my App play with their hardware... is that correct? When can I have an Android BLE prototype phone?
Suggestions appreciated.
/Raj.
Hi Raj,
Seems like Motorola RAZR will support BLE:

The CC2540 worked fine for us on the Linux platform. I am not quite familiar with the CC2541 yet but believe it should work just as fine.
Best Regards,
