NFCLib for RF7970ATB + TM4C123GXL

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529

I have already asked about   RF7970ATB + TM4C123GXL(LaunchPad) configuration in march2015. At that time nfcLib was supporting only peer-to-peer mode of communication.

Is there any modified version of nfcLib released after april2015 which also supports card emulation and tag reader/writer mode?

or

is TI planning to release such nfcLib soon in future?

I am already using RF7970ATB+MSP430F5529 configuration due to nfcLib limitations.

Best regards,

Amitkumar Kumbhar

  • Hey Amitkumar,

I don't think we are planning to release a TM4C version in the near future. Can you give me some more information on how you are hoping to use the NFClink with the TM4C? Is it going to still be attached to the PC GUI?

We are working to release NFClink Standalone in the very near future, but for now, only on the F5529 EXP & Launch Pad Platforms. The difference is this entire stack runs on the embedded side, and doesn't require a separate host/GUI.

The reason this may be useful for you, is that it won't be a library. You will have access to the full source code, and porting to other platforms should be pretty straight forward.

Hopefully NFClink standalone will get you where you are trying to go.

    Thanks,
    JD
