CC3000 Smart Config (PC platform) does not populate the SSID and Gateway IP Address

Hi,

I used to run Smart Config (PC platform) and it automatically populates the SSID and Gateway IP Address when the program starts up. Somehow after I upgrade my Java version and the program no longer populate the information. When I manually key in all the information (SSID, Password, ...) and click the start button, the program does not seem to do anything or sending out anything. I am wondering if this is something to do with the security issue (Java, or CC3000 ??) and how can I fix this problem?

Hi,

I try to do some debugging, and found that the onAppletLoad() function in smartConfig.js never got called when the browser starts up the smartConfig.html page. Why???

I am wondering if the SmartConfig PC platform Java applets is compatible with "Java Platform SE 7 U"?

Hi Joo,

We have not upgraded the SmartConfig PC application to the latest Jave SE Dev Kit 7 updates. We have not tested them with the latest updates, hence we are not sure about its behavior. We will look into it, but we do not have immediate plans to upgrade it.

Hi Raghavendra,

Could you please tell me what Java Version works with the SmartConfig? I forgot what version I have been using before upgrading to the 7 version.
