Bind() - Is 0.0.0.0 the only IP address the CC3000's bind() allows?

This should be an easy question:

Does the current socket bind() implementation that TI distributes for use with the CC3000, allow binding a socket to any IPV4 address other than 0.0.0.0?

If the answer exists in public documentation already (it should...), I'll be happy with an answer that to simply guides me to that material.

CC3000 only supports binding to its' local address, which is configured by using 0.0.0.0.

Alon - Thanks - I think I know what you mean, but I'm not sure.

I thought my question was a yes/no question. Your reply isn't a yes or a no, and uses somewhat loosely defined terms (I don't think the CC3000 API has a "configure" command).

Sockets are configured in many ways; and communication devices represented by sockets can have many addresses, several of which can be considered local in one context or another.

I'm still curious if the current implementation of the bind() command accepts only 0.0.0.0 for its IP address parameter. Can you use terms/commands defined in the API, to help me better understand what you mean when you write "its local address" and "configured by using "0.0.0.0"?

Sorry for the confusion.
The answer to your original question is, No, CC3000 can only bind to 0.0.0.0 address.
