Unable to access CC3200 on board web pages to Laptop web browser

Hi All

My CC3200 programmed with httpserver application ,I can see web pages in android phone .

I am able to connect wifi from my laptop ,

But I can not access webpages in my laptop browser and also why it doesn't appear in Nokia asha 502 phone? ..

Please help.. where i am going wrong or miss anything.?

Are you using the CC3200 as an Access Point? If yes, in AP mode you can only connect ONE client device at a time. Try disconnecting your phone first before connecting another device.

Yes Device CC3200 is in AP mode ,and my phone also disconnected

still unable to access on board web pages.

Hi Sachin,

Are you using the domain name (http://mysimplelink.net) or using the IP address to access the http server?

If you are using the domain name I suggest you to try using the IP address.

I tried with IP address (192.168.0.1) but still not getting web pages.

I also have same issue with OOB application

The default IP addess of CC3200/CC3100 is 192.168.1.1. If you haven't re-configured the IP address you should use 192.168.1.1.

Domain name should work on the PC also. Did you try using 'http://mysimplelink.net' ?

Do you have also ethernet (cable) connection on your PC? If yes, try to disable the ethernet interface on your Windows network setting. Most probably you are having the same problem as I had before.

Hi Sachin,

Just to confirm I suggest the following:

Connect with your android device
run the WiFi Starter application from Texas Instruments - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pandaos.smartconfig
Use the application to check which devices are connected (probably only you)
click on the device - it will take you to the device WebPage - there please confirm the domain Name
In the PC make sure you don't Google the address but writing the exact link: http://mysimplelink.net

Maybe its the missing mDNS support of the Nokia Mobile and the Laptop?
You might try installing Bonjour Print Services for Windows or iTunes, both include mDNS drivers.

I've tried with my laptop and noticed a similiar problem, but i think its my laptops fault:

- Started laptop, it automatically connects to my home wifi and gets the IP 192.168.0.23, Gateway 192.168.0.1

-disconnect from homewifi and connect to simplelink AP, IP is still 192.168.0.23, Gateway 192.168.0.1

It looks like it isnt requesting a new dhcp lease from the AP, i think its my laptops fault.

I could fix it by chosing "Diagnose" at the properties of the wifi connection. After the diagnose finished my laptop had the IP 192.168.1.2 and default gateway 192.168.1.1

My Preferred DNS server was set to :192.168.0.1

Now i changed it to 192.168.1.1

And it works ,Thanks
