Hello,

I have two wifi kits CC3000 and CC3200 launch pad kit with me.

In CC3000 , i am able to do smart config properly.

But in CC3200 lauch pad kit i am not being able to perform smart config.

I am using Email demo application in CC3200 and giving 06 command through

UART to put system in smart config mode.

I am using "Wifi starter" application in Ipad device.

But every time application gives me timeout.

Thanks for the reply.

I checked the link you have given in your post.

I am following the same steps but still i am not being able to perform

"Smartconfig" properly.

I have already removed jumper on p58 , so CC3200 goes

in smart config mode always on reset.

In "Wi-fi starter App" i am writing three things

1) SSID Name of my Access point.

2) Password of my Access point

3) Device Name ( I am writing it "CC3200" , please tell me if it is correct or not ? )

Hi Smitesh,

The Device name field is optional. This is used to change the default "<MAC address>-mysimplelink" name to your custom names.

Please make sure:

Your mobile device is connected to an 2.4GHz SSID with only SISO20.
The Devices tab (2nd tab) in the WiFi Starter App does not contain the device you are about to connect. If it's in the list, please restart the app.
