'error' -image requires ROMS directive

Hi, i've been having problems getting this to create a binary image so i can flash it with uniflash.. The code will run in debug mode.. I've uninstalled CCS6.0 and reinstalled but it deostn make any difference.

I've hunted high and low, but i'm at a loss now to udnersand whats going on.

Anybody know..

Hi Andrew,

The oob example program builds without errors and able to make .bin file. So, whatever modification you did with the code, might be causing that error your seeing.

To make sure that you have indeed made a new .bin file, delete the .out and .bin file at the release folder and then build again.

Yes, i agree with you. I've previously compiled it and it worked just fine. I'm using a "out of the box" version of "out of th box" and still getting the error.

I've installed and reinstalled CSS several times.. Theres something broken somewhere, its not the code. its probably a configuration thing.

I'm confused, it says its calling C:\Perl\... but i don't have any Perl at that location.

As this is more of a CCS problem, alternatively post this at the CCS forum, to get more expert advice.
