CC1310 differential/single ended which is what?

In the CC1310 datasheet page 35 figure 7 shows a differential circuit.

I looked at schematic CC13xxEM-7XD-7793, which I believe is the schematic of evaluation board module.

This schematic uses the differential circuit as per the datasheet. My question is why does a differential circuit used to connect to a monopole or a PCB helix which are single ended?

As per application note AN058 swra161b page 9 - the dipole is a differential antenna and a meandered monopole or any such are single ended?

Is my understanding incorrect or is there a typo some where?
