CC430F5137: Power up issue for standalone hardware

I have made a hardware which runs normally when just connected to the msp-fet, but when I try to make it run independently it sometimes runs and sometimes doesn't run at all.

I suspect that some power-on reset is not happening correctly. Or I have not wired the programming lines correctly for startup without the JTAG lines connected to the msp-fet.

Please suggest what might be my issue and possible solutions.

I have used the schematic given in the cc430f5137 development board. Which part of the schematic involves the startup.

Is anything to be handled in code?
