Hi team,

Now I have a big customer who are interested Wilink mesh audio and WiSA, which is an industry standard for wireless speakers with lowest latency lip-synchronized stereo and multichannel speakers.

They would like to know about the latency of mesh network from one device to another device when playing a music based on runing StreamUnlimited.

Do you have the data of latency to show to customer?

Hi Leonard，

They plan to use WL1801, or CC85xx, they saw our CC85xx Audio latency is down to 10ms form CC85xx datasheet.

So they would like to know data of WL1801 Audio latency. Do you have any suggetions?

Hi Eggsy,
Sitara+WiLink8 is a Multiroom audio sync solution but not a low latency audio solution . We don't have latency numbers to share.

Could you help me test the latency followed below pic cause I have not the AUDIO WILINK board? If the result of Latency is smaller than 5ms, we can Dwin customer big project. Thank you!

Hi Eggsy ,
Low latency solution is used in lip-sync scenarios where video is in sync with audio . As i mentioned in my previous post - this is not a low latency solution. We cannot get 5 msec latency on our solution .

1. If there are just only two device, will it be a low latency solution?
2. If we cannot get 5 msec latency on our solution,so what is approximate value of latency? Customer would like to know about it.
