WL1835MOD: Obsolete Part in WL1835 EVM

Part Number: WL1835MOD

Hi,

I am using WL1835MOD in my custom board. The PCB layout design is similar to its eval board with on-board chip antenna. The filter parts used are same as in the eval board. Now it is found that one of the filter part "capacitor-C5,C6" gone obsolete. Vendor stop production for this part. I understand for certification reuse, I should not replace any part. Please confirm. And in this point, let me know your comments for certification reuse.

Hi Vijay,

There is no issue changing this component to an equivalent component. The re-use of certification allows for matching components to be optimized to the antenna to ensure it remains a good radiator (50 ohm match) when the product is in the enclosure.
