Part Number: ADS8528 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS8578S , Hello,
I need to know whether I can connect HVDD to 5V, the same supply as AVDD, and HVSS to AGND. It looks like my analog inputs will not exceed 5V and will not go negative, so I'd like…
Hi Steven,
You are correct on the high side issue using the ADS8578. From the low side, you would be fine as long as the sense resister 'ground' is at the same potential as the AGND pins of the ADS8578.
Part Number: ADS8528 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS8578S Hi Team,
Can you please support with following request:

I am looking for an ADC chip to be used as part of a project at his university. I think ADS8528 can meet our needs. But I couldn…
Hi Feng bin,
Yes, both ADS8668 and ADS8528 support daisy-chain mode. There are a couple of things I would like to point out:
ADS8528 is a simultaneous sampling ADC(12-bit/8-ch), If simultaneous sampling ADC is expected, ADS8578S should be a good…
Hi gary,
ADS8578S is the 14-bit version of ADS8588S, this ADC only needs two power supplies: AVDD=5V and DVDD=3.3V. The pcb guidelines are shown in the section 11.1 of datasheet .

Hi Shinya,
The faster throughput for multiplexed ADC is 1Msps(ADS7955- 10Bit/8CH,ADS7951-12Bit/8CH, but we do have ADS8578S , which is 8-ch/14Bit, simultaneous-sampling ADC with 200ksps throughput. Also, this ADC has integrated PGA, ADC driver and precision…
