Part Number: BQ24050 Hello,
In our design we use the bq24050 with a 10K NTC.
In order to check the correct functionality of the NTC protection circuit, we simulate the temperature rising by changing the value of a resistor instead of the NTC.
We change…
Part Number: BQ24050 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24040 , BQ24085 Dear support
I want to integrate BQ24050 to our system for battery charging.
In our system it charge low current(40mA) 5V input, 4.2V li-po battery charging.
(Power supply only 200mW…
Part Number: BQ24050
I want to charge the Li-ion battery of 35 mAh and selected the BQ24050.
But now I am testing on my hardware and seems not working.
It means it is not charging battery and tested with ammeter in series with battery.
Also when battery…
Part Number: BQ24052 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24050 , , BQ25170 , BQ25171-Q1 , BQ24040 Specs would be single cell, 1A charge current, li-polymer chemistry, linear topology, also needs 5V Vin capability from USB port.
Also what's the difference…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24050 Hi,
I am designing a new circuit based on BQ24050 Texas Instruments Li-Po Charger. The battery that the system uses doesn´t have NTC, it only has two pins (+ and -). My question is, How should I connect the TS pin…
Part Number: BQ24050 Hi, I am designing a battery charger based on BQ24050 chip. My microcontroller host don´t use USB and the system will ac adapto. My question is if the D+/D- can be floating? or how I should connect it? Thanks Carlos
Hi Jeff
Maybe BQ24050 could be an option. I think it has ITERM down to 2 mA. I would lose I2C. Even BQ25629 with 5 mA of ITERM sounds better than the 40 mA of BQ25792.
Looking at BQ24050 datasheet, it seemed to me that if I use 40 mA as current of fast…
Hi
Take a look at the BQ24040 Quick Start Guide Application Report, Figure 1 this will show the circuit described above.
