Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24250 , BQ25616 , BQ25601 Hi,
I'm looking for BQ24261 and BQ24262 datasheets but I can't find them anywhere.
We're using the BQ24250 charger in one product, but it is out of stock, and our manufacturer suggested…
Jeff,
We have tested the bq24261 with the schottky diode on the SDA pin. I am happy to report that it continues to work with direct discharges of 8KV. This appears to have remedied our problem. Thank you for your support.
Dear ,
I have a question for BQ24261 application for EMI.
I test EMI Radiation and fail on 106MHz and 300MHz.
I put a 0.01uF to ground on SW pin of BQ24261.
Does it have any effect with application?
Thanks.
Hi!
I have doubts about this charger:
1.- In the datasheet states that when in DEFAULT mode, with the PSEL pin we can choose between WALL ADAPTER or USB. When LOW, the WALL ADAPTER mode is selected. So, when high or floating, USB mode is selected?

Hi,
I tried to set up a I2C communication with an bq24261, but always get a NAK after last Byte. Than I checked out the EVM board and found out, that there the same bus failure occurs????? I only used the original EVM and the USB/I2C Adapter provided…
Hi,
I start using the bq24261 EVM and first steps worked out. After some time I detect strange behavior. After Little Investigation, I found out, that the Parameters, set by the UI were reset to some Default. Ok, I disabled the watchdog function, same…
I have design with the bq24261 and it seems to be working OK, but I am having a problem verifying that when the IC is supplied power from an external supply that the system load is drawing all power from that external source and not he Li-Ion battery…
Dear all,
I would like to use a bq24261 to charge a battery. It is not fully clear to me which is the voltage required for the I2C interface: in the datasheet it seems to be tested at V(scl) = V(sda) = 1.8 V, but I do not find a max-min voltage to bias…
