Dear experts, can bq24610 charge LFP batteries? I think the only difference is just to lower the cell full charging voltage to 3.6V. Best regards.
Part Number: BQ24610 I made a power charge and discharge management scheme with BQ24610 chip. After the circuit board was welded, the power output was abnormal: the LED of PG pin was abnormally blinking, and the BAT output was abnormal (at this time,…
Hi Lumina,
Could you please send the full schematic of the BQ24610?
Also are you using a thermistor in your design, and if so, which one?
Best Regards,

I want to create my own cc cv step down dc-dc converter for 3s battery…
Part Number: BQ24610 Hi, team:
My customer use BQ24610 as reference design, and VIn=19V, 4 cell battery. but when they found Vref have a abnormal wave and charger's ACDRV will restart.
I hope to know what's situation will cause Vref's value abnormally…
Hi Aya, Thanks for the layout example. I increased the capacitance to 100uF and added a TVS at the battery connection. This solved the exploding issue.
