Sorry for the late reply.
The BQ25070 is not a good fit for a solar cell input voltage, no MPP control. Problem with the TS voltage is compounded by the internal reference voltage for conspirators, external supply would not be a good fix.
Take a look…
Part Number: BQ25070 We are using LED as in EVM Board for indicating charging and Not Charging. But LED is not glowing till we are not drawing 280 mA (with default configuration). I have few questions
1) What will be minimum current for which IC will…
Part Number: BQ25070 In one of my application, I am using voltage divider setting form as suggested in datasheet 490 K and 100 K. Please let me know what is valid voltage input range for TS pin so that i can change resistance.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 Is it possible to use the BQ25070 battery charger IC for lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries to charge Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries, if necessary with some circuit adjustment? We have BQ25070 designed…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 Dear, All
There is a question about the charging method of BQ25070. About Figure.13 of a data sheet on page 10. Looking at Figure.13 and after full charge looks like a trickle charge. Is this correct? If this is correct…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 , BQ25071 Hi,
I have some questions about BQ25070 application.
Could you please advise me the followings?
1. When the TS pin is not used, how do I handle the pin?
2. When the IMON pin is not used, how do I handle…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 Hello,
I would like to know bq25070 charge current limit during its float chrage stage.
Before Vrch threshhold is activated, for example, when Vbat would be around 3.4V, what is the maximum float charge current…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 , BQ25505 Hi,
In my power management circuit the BQ25505 Energy harvesting IC is connected through VSOTR to our battery which is also connected to our USB charging IC the BQ25070 through BAT. That way we can charge…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25070 Hello everyone,
Playing around with the BQ25070 LiFePO4 charger EV KIT, we noticed that there is some (leakage?) current flowing into the chip from the battery when no input is connected.
This current is approximately…
Can I trick it with some resistors etc to output 500mA to 1000mA constant around 3.3-3.5v? As I want it to be an option to install Lifepo4 battery later.
