Our customer is looking for a schematic for the CD4017B cascade timer for 20 to 80 lights. He have a few circuits he got off the internet, but they…
Part Number: CD4017B Dear Sir/ Madam,
If we supply 3.3V to CD4017B, what is the threshold for input high and low voltage(VIL, VIH)?
Datasheet provide data for 5,10,15V supply but no 3.3V data.
I just want to confirm if it is 70% supply voltage for HIGH…
Part Number: CD4017B Dear Sir/Madam,
I just look into CD4017B datasheet, supply voltage range should be 3-18V, but datasheet provide 5V, 10V and 15V data only.
Can i implement it on 3.3V circuit? and 3.3V as logic high level?
Thanks.
Best Regards,

Part Number: CD4017B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models Hello,
I'm trying to use a CD4017B counter or something similar in TINA-TI, but I cannot find a spice macro for it in either the components library or…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CD4017B Hi
Where can I get a spice model for CD4017B?
I have a pspice model but produces error:
"Not supported syntax element LOGICEXP"
Thanks
Hi Chad,
Thanks for the response. I have not tried that suggestion but it's a good idea.
The device does work at f<1k, just not reliably. My 2 hour timer lasted about 2.2 hours, so I thought using an external oscillator would be a good solution.…
Kiryl,
The time periods can be ratios, such as all steps are the same width (1:1) If the ratios can fit into 10 time steps or less then CD4017B can team up with a single NE555. The NE555 sets the repetition rate (output frequency). The CD4017B sets the…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3488 , PMP11112 , CD4017B Dear TI community,
From a single DC bus, I want to generate 2 outputs using two boost converters using the LM3488 controller, both at 550 kHz.
- Should I synchronise their switching? - If so, how…
