Hi Peter,
Here are some general app notes for heatsink design:

This is quite a small DSBGA package which may make heatsinking difficult. Has the customer evaluated their application's power…

iam new here and have an question about the DLPDLCR2000EVM. There is the chip DLPA1000 thats powers the LEDs. But i want to know can this chip used with laser…
Mark,
I haven't heard from you regarding a layout for this system. Do you still need assistance. If not I will tentatively close this thread. Feel free to reopen as needed.
If possible, please compare the capacitance design in your layout with ours…
Part Number: TIDA-01347 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPA100 , DLPA1000 Hi,
I'm basing a design off your TIDA-01347 reference design but have noticed that the parts U10 and U29 show in the schematics and BOM as part # DLPA1000. Can I assume this…
Part Number: DLPDLCR2000EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC2607 , , DLPA1000 , DLPC3479 , DLPC3470 , DLPC3478 Hi,
Customer wants to use custom (constant) light source with DLPDLCR2000EVM. What are the necessary modifications (software) for the DLPC2607…
Vladimir,
I recommend you use the LED_SEL0 and LED_SEL1 lines from the PMIC (DLPA1000), which are used to modulate the RGB LEDs. You can find them via the reference design schematic.

Hi Rusha,
No problem! I am happy to help. Please see my response below:
1. A dummy load would be required. Because the DLPA1000 (the LED driver & PMIC for the DLPDLCR2000EVM) has a fault mode for overvoltage protection (section 7.3.5.5 of the DLPA1000…
