The drive is a 2-phase stepping motor, which is driven by 64 subdivision. When the input PWM remains unchanged, the motor will vibrate slightly. Have any friends ever encountered this problem, how to solve it? When the motor…
Part Number: DRV8812 Hi Team, I am using a blower in one of my designs. I was initially planning to use the motor driver DRV8812PWPR to drive the blower. But my blower is capacitive load type. If my understanding is correct, the chip uses current regulations…
Part Number: DRV8812 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8426 , DRV8436 , DRV8424 Hi Team, I am using DRV8812 in one of our products. 3.3V will be out I/O logic. The VM will be 40V generated from a boost converter. The boost converter will be stepping the voltage…

1, APHASE/BPHASE pin input PWM signal frequency 20KHZ, when the input PWM signal duty cycle is unchanged, the output AOUTx/BOUTx is changing, which shows that when the…
Part Number: DRV8812 Hi team, Could you please answer the following questions about nFAULT and OCP of DRV8812? Question: Q1. Is it possible to enable the nFAULT pin other than OCP and TSD? Q2. Why are overcurrents detected at two locations, VM pin side and…
Vic,
Look correct to me. On the datasheet,
I saw about 25mV error on xISENSE trip voltage. 0.168V/5=33.6mV. It is not much higher than 25mV. So, you may see a big error with 0.168V VREFx setting. I would recommend to increase the sense resistor value…
Part Number: DRV8812 To whom it may concern.
Please let m know the voltage on VCP terminal in DRV8812, when 24V is applied to VM terminal.
best regards.
Part Number: DRV8812 Hi team,
Can we expect the self-recovery behavior from any fault condition such as OCP with connecting nFAULT pin and nRESET pin?
Best regards, Iwata ETsuji
Part Number: DRV8812 Hi, In case of OPEN, please tell me the internal pull-up or pull-down status of each pin. Which status is the pin in the red frame below, High or Low? The data sheet did not describe the behavior of each pin in the case of Open processing…
