Hey Francois,
The DRV8363-Q1 EVM was built for compatibility with LAUNCHXL-F280049C. In one of our initial revisions we had challenge running HALL C to J9.17.
The Hall signal would not toggle which affected Hall based commutation. Therefore, We…
Part Number: MCT8316Z Hi, I'm using the MCT8316Z (spi version) BLDC motor controller, to control a brushless motor with digital hall effect sensors. My schematics (I believe) follows the EVM and reference designs, and is nothing out of the ordinary. I…
Hello Chase
Chase Jeong said: Could you check that how can I connect TQL50A to DRV411 EVM?
You would basically remove the connections of the hall sensor and compensation coil to our device. I assume you just want to use the hall sensor and compensation…
Hi Henry,
Thank you for your interest in the DRV8353R EVM.
You are correct, unfortunately this board only supplies 3.3V to the hall power.
The DRV8353 Device itself will work just fine with this motor, but unfortunately the board was designed without…
Hi
There is no errata or issue observed with PWM frequency.
How are the HALL sensors are connected? Can we verify the HALL type and biasing recommendation including noise filtering as per data sheet?
Are you testing it on EVM?
Please share motor…
Hi Wataru,
Verified for the condition 1, with one HALL fault will not detect and it requires 2 HALL to be disconnected.
For the observation in condition 2, possibility is wrong commutation can be driving motor at low efficiency and causing over temperature…
Part Number: DRV8353RS-EVM I am a beginner and I have been trying to build a robot where my Nucleo H755zi-q will act as the motor controller. After research on chatgpt I got my hands on the DRV8353rs-evm to power a 3 phase 120 Degree Hall sensor based…
Part Number: AM3354 Tool/software: Hi experts
Our HMI product, which went into mass production in 2014, uses the AM3354 processor. However, in the latest batch of products, some units are experiencing issues where a warm-reset cannot be completed successfully…
