Part Number: PCM1803 Hi, team:
Nice to meet you!
I noticed in PCM1803 datasheet their describe tGD (Group delay time) is 17.4/fs ,could you help explain how to understand tGD , does it mean delay time of input and output signal?
If I set 96Khz,and…
Part Number: PCM1803 Dear Team
we purchased the part#PCM1803ADBR ,but we are not sure about the date code of the part from the marking ,it's year 2019 or year 2009
Could you help check and adv us by return ? and is there any document mentioned this…
Part Number: PCM1803 E2E,
We have an issue where a pop is generated when the battery is quickly removed from my audio product that uses a PCM1803, and we noticed that it improves if we place more capacitance on VREF.
The datasheet recommends a 10uF and…

is it possible to get 16bit Dout from pcm1803, by lowering the BCLK ??
or is there any ways i can get 16bit output from pcm1803 ?/
thanks

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3204 , PCM1803 Hello, without going into too many details, on a TLV320AIC3204, if I provide the BCLK pin with a 128kHz signal (50% duty), the result is that the data on the DOUT pin is 8 bits @ 8kHz and the WCLK…
Hi Zak,
turns out the input needed proper buffering. I also added an active LPF filter and the frequency response is pretty flat.
Quick question... Which ADC from the 18xx series should I choose? I have tested the PCM1803 and PCM1808 and both gave similar…
Hi Kawasaki-san,
I actually wanted to clarify that some of our other PCM180x devices do actually support an SCKI of 768*fs. You can look at the PCM1802, PCM1803, and PCM1804. My apologies, the PCM1808 does not support this and I thought the other devices…
Hi Nic,
PCM1808 is 14-pin TSSOP and PCM1803 is 20-pin TSSOP package. They are not pin-to-pin compatible. As a result, we cannot swap the device on the PCM1803 EVM for any meaningful evaluation. Sorry.
Best regards,
Ravi
Part Number: PCM1803A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1803 Dear sir or madam, In DEM-DAI1803EV schematics, VREF2 of PCM1803 is connected to VCC but datasheet just talks about decoupling it. So, is it necessary to connect it to VCC? Is it possible to connect…
Hi, Mr. Diego,
Thanks a lot for your so soon and professional reply!
1. We are still worry about the 13db deviation of the SNR in MIN and typical case, versus the 3db in PCM1803 case. We can't image what is the condition for such huge deviation for PCM1863…
