Part Number: PCM4222 Tool/software: Hi,
I have designed a functional test (FT) board using the PCM4222, with a total of 4 sites, each equipped with one PCM4222. I’ve encountered an issue where using the ADCs simultaneously causes interference between…
Part Number: PCM4222 Tool/software: Is an external RC (10000pF and 10kOhm) needed for a simple power on reset circuit external to the PCM4222. I have no microprocessor or reset switch on the design. If an external RC is needed then do I need to use schmitt…
Part Number: PCM4222 Tool/software: Hello,
page 26 of the PCM4222 datasheet says the PCMEN pin should be high for MBM output mode, but page 16 of the PCM4222EVM Users Guide says the PCMEN pin should be LO in MBM output mode.
Could someone clarify…
Part Number: PCM4222 hi,
PCM4222 work in PCM mode and sclk=12.288Mhz, normal mode. sample rate is 48khz.
below is my design that produce P/N diff signal to PCM4222 analog input.
when below PCM4222_P/N port not connected to PCM4222 analog input,…
Part Number: PCM4222 Hi,
I checked the PCM4222s datasheet but did not find a specification for the power supply rejection ratio of the IC (VCC1 and VCC2). Are these values specified elsewhere or could you please provide these numbers?
Thanks,…
Part Number: PCM4222 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA1632 Hi, I am implementing the PCM4222 in a design and i have a question in respect to the maximum analogue input voltage on pins VinL+/VinL- and VinR+/VinR- for FSD. The datasheet states on page…
Hey Thomas,
Thanks for the update, I'm sorry you're still not seeing the expected performance. Can you confirm that your bandwidth was limited to the 22Hz to 20kHz range for the THD+N measurements? Also, are you calculating the -1dBFS input level…
Chris,
That sounds great. Is the FPGA providing MCLK to the PCM4222 as well? if so are you connecting it to J11?
It sounds like you are running the PCM4222 as a I2S slave, is that right?
best regards,
-Steve Wilson
