Can you please help us with our customer's inquiry below?
I'm using a PCM5142EVM-U in Audio's field. On this eval board there is chip (DAC) called PCM5142…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM5102 Dear Sir
the datasheet of PCM5102 suggests to use 2.2uF between [pin2:CAPP/pin4: CAPM]
and 2.2uF also between [pin3:CPGND / pin5:VNEG]
can I use 10uF for both instaed?
thank you very much

Can the PCM5102-Q1 Audio DAC generate stable DC output? In the intended application, we need a variable frequency (DC to 10kHz) sinus output.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Ivan,
Thank you. The goal is just stereo I2S. The only unique part of that is we aren't quite sure what to do with our 4-into-2 on the ADC input.
Currently, on ASI_OUT_CH_EN we're using 11110000. Then, with our 24.576mhz clock we ended up with…
In the datasheet, 2.2uF for the external charge pump capacitors are given. Is there a problem to use larger capacitors. I already have some 10uF X5R caps on the board and would like to use the same type for the charge pump. Any comment on this?
