Part Number: PGA2500
PGA250x datasheets don't seem to have any noise specs other than a graph, and it's not clear whether the graph measurements are A-weighted or flat 20-20k, 22-22k, etc.
Just trying to compare them fairly to other solutions…
Hi Sumeet,
This seems similar to (or is?) an audio transducer. For 1 dB attenuation variation PGAs that are separate from the ADC, we have PGA2500 and PGA4311 . Our latest PGA ( PGA855 ) has great performance but fewer gain steps. Newer ADCs such as the …
I proposed the schematic with a view that the PGA2500 could be removed, However since the PGA2500 is needed in your application for a greater sensitivity i guess this schematic would not be used.
In my schematic, to my understanding The Bias Resistor…
Hi Ivan,
thanks for the answer!
Precisely those blocking caps are the problem. I have been following all the information I could gatter on this matter, but since my application is not a mic, nor a mixer providing the phantom power, but a intermediate…
Part Number: PGA2500 I am designing a PGA2500 base preamp and have some pads and phantom to switch.
I can use optomos relay to switch the phantom power with GPO from PGA2500 to isolate from
digita noise or just use a N & P channel mosfet.
to switch…
Part Number: PGA2500 Our customer is facing large DC offset and it crate audible pop noise when change PGA gain setting.
This is just before final device selection stage after ES1 evaluation, if this is device performance limitation they will move to…
Part Number: PGA2500 Hello,
If I am looking to program the PGA2500 over SPI, is there a register map for reference? I did not see one in the datasheet or EVM user's guide.
Best,
Jared
Part Number: PGA2500 Hello,
Our customer has built engineering sample unit using PGA2500 for semi-professional studio equipment.
Gain error specification is 0.5dB(typ) on datasheet but actual sample has +/-0.8dB gain error.
There is not (max) number…

I'm a Student who is doing a Project to make a code for comunicate and change the gain from the PgA2500 preamplifier. I know its connect by SPI mode…

Dear Technical Support Team,
I'd like to use Vin=2Vrms(2.88Vp) with PGA2500. When the gain is 10dB, it means that ideal Vout is 2*10`(10/20) = 6.325Vrms. Then the voltage of Vout+ and Vout…
