Part Number: PMP30528 Tool/software: I'm trying to simulate this design (attached) with PSPICE for TI and on top of taking forever (almost 2 hours) to give me any output, I am also getting a convergence error at the end of it.
Part Number: PMP30528 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV431 Hi. TI
I am trying to use in my project by changing the value of R/C values of the CVCC super capacitor charger part.
So, Please advise on how to adjust the resistance value as following schematic…
Hi Tao
Thank you for the quick reply, I was already able to clarify this with our PSDS support, summary below.
Best regards

A simpler solution would be to use a linear regulator to charge the supercapacitor from the…
Part Number: TPS61022 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP30528 , , PMP Hello,
The PMP30528 suggests that Vout goes to zero when Vin is below 1.8V at 2A load (see 2.4.1 and 2.4.2 in test report of PMP30528). Is that a general behavior of the TPS61022?

Hi Tim,
during normal operation of the PMP30693 the main power is directly connected to the system and both have the same voltage level. So for a 12V system the input and output voltage will be 12V. This will destroy the supercapcitors because the PMP30693…
Hi Hans:
There should be a min Vin spec. None converter can support if Vin drop too low.
You can have a look at TPS63802, while the min Vin can be 1.3V after startup. (But can't handle full loading when Vin is too low.)
We also have a reference design…
