    PMP40285: EMI data of PMP40285

    Part Number: PMP40285

    Hi,

My customer is just considering the PMP40285.

Could you provide the EMI data of this design if you have?

    Best Regards,

    Kuramochi

LM73606: PSPICE simulation - getting wrong results

    Part Number: LM73606

    Tool/software:

    Dear members,

I´m having troubles with the simulation of LM73606 with the reference design as referenced in the schematic and test report of PMP40285 available from here (https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP40285#design-products).

The reference schematic is following and I use this part to test that LM73606 model works properly, so I can use it in a different design.

My schematic in PSPICE for TI is as follows:

And the results at VCC / VBUS1 / IL1 are following (transient simulation is set to 10 ms with maximum time step of 1 us, without any additional adjustments). The model used in simulation (SNVMBE5.ZIP) is downloaded from TI webpage (www.ti.com/.../LM73606

With skipped initial transient bias point calculation:

However, none of those achieved results lead to the desired, expected results. If I use the the build-in component in PSPICE for TI named   , which should be an equivalent component, I got the same results. Nevertheless, I have noticed that the results further differ, if I open and use (copy) the component from model test circuit, which is available from PSPICE under LM73606RNP_TRANS transient model. The obtained results are:

There is a large difference in the output voltage from the component, while still it does not work as expected. I can share my design files via e-mail, but I got stuck at this point.

    Many thanks for any suggestions.

    Kind regards,
    Petr Kadera

RE: PMP20489: why doesn't TI standardize the reference design info?

An easy fix would be on the web page ( www.ti.com/.../PMP40285 ), allow saving the high resolution image of the PCB rather than medium res When a user click on the image of the PCB to view it, fix the HTML to allow save of the higher resolution image. Currently a right click allows saving the medium resolution image which becomes fuzzy when it is opened as a JPEG and is zoomed. Thanks.
