David,
One last thing, do you think one of the EP7 or EP10 could work for the PMP9175: https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/336/-180276.pdf

Hi apullin,
Difference between diode bridge & active bridge is ~2% efficiency. Active bridge is more commonly see at higher power levels.
The design is up to date & we do not have simulation files.
See attached files for PMP9175.

Hi Sammi, We suggest using TPS23753A instead since It will be supported longer. Here are some tested & optimized 5V 13W flyback reference designs that fit their requirements: PMP9175 - Sync Rectifier Flyback PMP7355 - Diode Rectifier Flyback Thanks…
Part Number: TPS23755 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS23754 , , TPS23754EVM-420 , TPS23753A , PMP9175 , UCC24612 I am in the process of setting the schematic for a 6W PoE design to revise it due to thermal issues. I could use some wisdom from the TI PoE…
Part Number: TPS23753 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP9175 , , PMP20220 , TPS23751 Hello,
I have a need for a POE PD design that will power a remote sensor. This sensor could frequently operate in environments around 85C, and even be subjected to excursions…
Hello Zhanpeng,
62% at 5V/300mA is low, but there are ways we can improve it.
1. The customer choose to do a diode rectified flyback. These are inherently less efficient but more cost effective. I would recommend switching to a synchronous flyback …
Part Number: TPS23755EVM-894 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP9175 , TPS23755 Hi team,
May I know if customer would like modify TPS24755EVM to 5Voutput, can customer just change R16/R21 value? or other components also need to change?
Thanks & regard…
Hi Kohei,
Yes, you are welcome to modify the reference design in anyway you see fit. We have provided it free to be used.
The below PD reference designs use our TPS23753A type 1 PD + PWM controller:
PMP9175: 5V/2.3A Synchronous Flyback
PMP20931: 3.7V…
Hi Darwin
Thank you for reply.
Is there layout guideline if PMP9175 is referred?
If you can offer the point to design PMP9175, please tell us.
(Especially, synchronous gate drive topology on secondary side)
BestRegards
