we have design active speaker used TAS5631B, but the pwm signal we use TAS5711 generate replace tas5518. Now we testing, we find that some issue.

Hi user4292685,
The problem may be tied also to the TAS5518, have you verified that the digital input of the PWM processor is correct?, what are the settings used to configure the EVM?

Hi Don,
Thank you for your advice. Just to clarify, that means I can simply use TAS5508/TAS5518 GUI with this board to control those chips?. Do I have to load the firmware to the USB board or can I run directly TAS5508/TAS5518 GUI from the PC to communicate…
Thank you Don, I am using a TAS5518 to provide PWM to the TAS5162. I don't see a setting on the TAS5518 to pick AD or BD. I have a design update using a TAS5631 were you can chose AD or BD on the mode pins. I am using the reference design as a basis.

The TAS5508C pin-out is exactly the same as TAS5518. The evaluation board information is here:

PS TAS5518 is NOT EOL, it's NRND. Big, big, BIG difference. We have no plans to discontinue production of the TAS5518. Also, TAS5508C, which is pin-compatible with it, is still being…

you also have the option to use the TAS5508C - pin to pin compatible with the TAS5518 and with same performance, it has BiQuads that can do the cross over you need.
A smaller footprint option is the TAS5086, its a 6ch device with a small audio…
