Part Number: TIDA-00725 We are interested in TI’s developed OTDR solution TIDA-00725. As per reference design technical document the LASER Driver board Schematic all components populated . but Individual LASER diode(TIDRIS8) schematic , Assembly…
Part Number: TIDA-00725 We are interested in TI’s developed OTDR solution TIDA-00725. We have gone through the document TIDUAZ1 but we have not been able to find the following basic and important OTDR parameters. Kindly let us know what values of…
Hello CSC,
For specifically laser drivers/modulators, we have reference designs for very low frequencies intended to drive LEDs, and we have a very high frequency reference design for optical network communication which would be overkill for this application…
Part Number: TIDA-00725
I am trying to build a laser range finder based on the APD and its biasing circuit and amplification circuit in TIDA-00725. The APD biasing circuit design is not clear to me.
Why I did not see an APD temperature monitoring circuit…
Part Number: OPA857EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 , TIDA-00725 , Tool/software: TI-RTOS Hi
Is there anyway to test the functionality of signal chain circuit before connecting it to photodiode. I mean which signal should I feed to this board…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 , THS4541 , TIDA-00725 , TIDA-00978 , ADC34J45 , ADC32J45 hello to everyone,
I am currently using a fast transipendance amplifier based on OPA857 (20KOhm gain setting) and an Hamamatsu PIN diode S5973 0.8pF@5V. I think…
Hello Burak,
1) Are you saying you want to bypass the TIA? You would need a way to convert the current input source to a voltage which is best done by an amplifier configured in a transimpedance manner. Not sure about the detection speed for the MCU…
Part Number: OPA857EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00725 Tool/software: TI-RTOS Hi,
I am using TIDA-00725 Signal-Chain Circuit, can anybody please tell me what is value of R28 in BOM?
Thanks

Part Number: OPA857 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00725 , , THS4541 , THS4508 I am looking for a suitable low noise, low distortion 20 V/V post amplifier for OPA857 TIA. In my application, the bandwidth is around 100 MHz. The TIDA-00725 reference…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4541 Dear Sir/Madam,
I am looking for design suggestion for OTDR as per block and spec below:
I have actually look at TIDA-00725 www.ti.com/lit/ug/tiduaz1/tiduaz1.pdf but I am not sure if it can cover the required wavelength…
