Hi Maggie,
The LV logic has higher switching characteristic vs. the LVC logic (LVC is faster). Both devices should work in the arbitration logic, where the LVC does support a higher CAN baudrate in the design.

Thomas

I am looking to swap the transformer (760390014) for one with greater isolation capability. From the recommended transformers listed in the datasheet of the driver SN6501…
My question concerns the arbitration circuit part of this design. The CAN protocol takes care of simultaneously sent messages using bit wise arbitration. Why is a hardware circuit required? It states for loopback mode. Loopback mode is not part of "normal…

Part Number: TIDA-01487 I would like to use the reference design in a product I am currently designing. In order to test and validate I need to get actual hardware on the bench. Is there a way to purchase the completed TIDA-01487 PCB? I see an image of…
Part Number: TIDA-01487 Hi,
I have made one PCB using the TIDA-01487 reference design with minor changes as using isolated CAN IC to avoid using digital isolator IC. when I am connecting the PCB as bridge between the two devices, there we found the CAN…
